Every September, Boston sidewalks fill with the furniture of people who gave up. The previous tenant left a couch with a mystery stain. You're leaving behind a mattress. Neither of you can legally just put it on the curb — Boston requires mattresses and box springs to be plastic-wrapped for disposal, and the fines are real.
We show up with a truck, a dolly, straps, and the actual knowledge of which transfer station takes what. Heavy items come down three flights of narrow stairs without taking the bannister with them.
Anything still usable we route to a donation partner instead of landfill, and we'll send you the receipt.

Why is there a separate disposal fee?
Because we refuse to guess and then surprise you. Transfer stations charge by weight and material, and a mattress costs more to legally recycle than a desk. We pay it, photograph the receipt, and bill you exactly what it cost — no markup.
Can't I just leave it on the curb?
Boston fines for improper bulk disposal, and mattresses and box springs have been banned from disposal in Massachusetts since 2022 — they must be recycled. Landlords also routinely deduct removal costs from the deposit, at their own inflated rate.
Do you do same-day?
Often yes, outside the Sept 1 window. During move-in and move-out weeks, same-day is rare — book two to three weeks ahead.
