A 55-inch TV weighs 35 pounds and pulls down and out from the wall. Hung on drywall anchors it will hold — right up until the night it doesn't, and then you owe your landlord a wall and yourself a TV.
We find the studs, verify with a pin finder, and lag-bolt into solid wood. If there are genuinely no studs where the TV has to go, we say so and use a toggle system rated well past the load, or we tell you honestly that it's a bad wall.
We'll also sort the rest of the setup: monitor arms clamped to the desk, a dock that actually drives both screens, and cables run so the whole thing doesn't look like a server closet.

Am I allowed to mount a TV in a rental?
Most Boston student leases allow it as long as the wall is restored at move-out. Read your lease — if it's ambiguous, ask in writing and keep the reply. We log every hole we make and our dismount-and-patch service puts the wall back so a walkthrough won't catch it.
Do you supply the mount?
You buy it, we install it — that way you own it and pick your price point. If you tell us the TV model when you book, we'll tell you the VESA pattern and what to get. We keep common mounts on the truck during move-in season for $45–$80 if you'd rather skip the trip.
What about plaster walls in an old triple-decker?
Very common in Mission Hill and JP. Plaster over wood lath needs a different approach than drywall — we drill pilot holes to avoid cracking the plaster face and hit the studs behind. It's included, no upcharge.
